As temperatures warm in the northern hemisphere, are you feeling influenced to get outside? Here, the dry air feels light on the skin. It’s easier to exercise each day, as I’ve mentioned.
This morning around 11 a.m. the temperature was 73, cool and dry. Walked by a creek within a mile of here; it is surrounded by a park where folks from the neighborhood walk their dogs, and makes a nice third place.
Temperatures are creeping up and the sun is more direct as we move into what I’ll call early summer. At the moment, that means not exercising at high noon.
Sign in the neighborhood; I assume it’s a reaction to the selling off by the federal government of some of Utah’s public lands. Nice to see.
This area is surrounded by high-elevation canyons, but it also feels nice to walk near home. Here are blueberry bushes by a short urban planned trail a couple miles of here. Strawberry plants make up the ground cover. I’ve seen them used that way in the Pacific Northwest; happy that parks and public spaces are using them here now too.
Sketch of a radio my parents bought the year before I was born.
The job group is smart. Appreciate your work, and how you’re sharing it. Also: happy birthday 🥳
🎂🎉❗️in advance!
