Hi all, quick update before getting outside again for the weekend. We had fun drawing in a small, low pressure group yesterday at noon CDT.

• Here's my sketch from the session, drawn while looking at a Cornell Lab of Ornithology video still of an acorn woodpecker. Do you know of them? With comical, clown-like faces when seen from the front, these birds fill the larder by stuffing acorns into “granary” holes they’ve created up and down a tree trunk.

• In other news, I’ve just started a course in leveraging art over multiple income streams, taught by illustrator Stacie Bloomfield. In this time of side hustles, I expect to share takeaways from the class to paid subscribers here.

• And, while updating my Redbubble merchandise, I came across really cute (if I do say so) collectible art buttons. I’ll return later with photos!
